Weekend cheater......

Well, lets say this.

Monday to Friday I am a machine, strict induction diet and exercise
every day.

Saturday night cheat city.

By the end of every friday I lose about one pound net from the last friday but from my saturday cheat I gain back like 4 to 5 pounds. Is this all water?

Anyone else doing this? Is this bad for me?

Thanks for any input

I would say this is bad for you since you're doing Atkins. You are not giving your body time to get in to ketosis and start burning your fat. There is another lc plan that allows something called a reward meal...you might want to check out the other plans and see if another one might be better for you. Good luck!

My uncle who told me about this WOE started to go off of it on the weekends and then on for the week days. He got himself a bad case of kidney stones. I don't know if this caused the stones or maybe not drinking enough fluids did but he was in real pain for over a month.

I kept going on and off and ended up gaining a lot of weight.

Check out the Atkins web site and look for two articles "The Wrong Way to Do Atkins" and "The Abuses of Induction"
