Good thing to keep in mind regarding KetoStix/LTS...

Hello everyone,

I just want to share my thoughts with KetoStix/LTS. Some people get discouraged when the test and they don't get the darkest color purple possible. I know mine sometimes barely shows pink.

Please keep in mind folks, that if there is even a TRACE of ketones showing up in your urine, you are burning fat!! I know it's discouraging seeing only a light color pink, but if anything at all shows up...you are doing something right!! Burning fat is better than gaining it...so please keep in mind that if anything shows up on the stix, good job! YOU ARE BURNING FAT!!

Just try to keep a migh morale! :yay: :yay:

I gave up on those sticks a few months ago. They stressed me out to badly. :(

Mine have been shades of purple starting about 2 days after I started Atkins. I do drink tons of water. But in the end, the things that really matter to me are:

1. lost weight
2. clothes getting looser
3. feeling better

So long as these things are happening, the ketostix could be green for all I care! LOL

I hate those silly stix!

I rarely see any color, usually shows negative. But I am losing weight every week and losing a lot of inches. Do I think I'm in ketosis? Heck ya! I have NO carb cravings and am very satisfied with the meals I eat. There are so many reasons you can be in ketosis and not have the sticks show purple.

These sticks are not necessary and if you feel bad about not turning them purple, just get rid of them. IMO - Results are what you're looking for, not turning pee stix purple!
