jimmy dean sausage cheese meatballs

My sister said that I had to try the Jimmy Dean sausage cheese meatballs. She said that I could eat them on my diet. I tried them and they were great.........until I got the recipe from her. It has 1-1/2 cup of bisquick in it. Oh well, I only ate 2 of them so not much harm done. But I was thinking that there should be a way to make these by substituting something.....I dont know, maybe soy flour or the atkins bake mix.

Does anyone have an idea of what may work?

Thanks,
Nanci

Hi Nanci

I love those sausage balls. I've seen recipes where they sub either Atkins bake mix or crushed pork rinds. I would try an equal amount of bake mix. Try making a mini-batch so you don't waste too much bake mix if they are wretched! Let me know how it goes! :D
