Question about sugar substitutes
 

Sorry if this has been asked and answered, but I was looking at Karen's recipe for chocolate truffles and had a question. It calls for 1/3 cup granular Splenda and 1/3 cup granular Sugar Twin. Can I just use 2/3 cup Splenda or 2/3 cup Sugar Twin? Why or why not?

Yes, you can use either just Splenda or just Sugar Twin. The interesting twist is that you'll need to use twice as much, ie one and a third cups of whichever one you choose.
Using a combination of the two sweeteners seems to double the sweetening power, as well as dramatically improving the taste. Any AS "aftertaste" seems to disappear when the combination of sweeteners is used. :)
