Gettin' Stupid here

[COLOR=DarkSlateBlue][FONT=Lucida Sans Unicode] :help:
Hi all,
I am new. I have a different challenge than most I am reading. I am hypoglycemic like many people here. I have been doing the diet for a few days and lost around 4 lbs. But here is the thing.. starting to get stupid from lack of carbs. Not the diets fault.. all mine. I can't think of a carb to eat. I am overdoing it on the low carb diet, and starting to get really empty headed. I can't think of a darn thing in my house to eat that won't blow my diet, but I need to eat something soon here. I don't care much about food, I just need it to be quick, so I can feel better & plan my diet instead of just winging it.
Does anyone have a suggestion? What a silly way to get started. :rolleyes:

Eggs are always easy for me. One of the things holding me back from going low carb was the very thought of eating eggs without toast! Some how I got past that and now eat eggs w/o toast all the time. Throw in some cheese &/or veggies to make it more interesting! Also, make sure you are getting your water!

Hi Connie,
Thanks for the tip. Maybe I will do eggs later in the day. Feel much better this morn :wave: I guess it just takes time. Its kinda cool though.. watching the scale inch its way in the other direction for a change <grin>.
How is it going for you?
Take care

Hi. :wave: The carbs you should be eating is easy: vegetables. :thup: Here is the acceptable foods list for induction - scroll down a bit for the veggie list.

Thanks! This morn while I was feeling better I checked my carb intake for yesterday, and I believe it was around 16g. So, I am on track. I think the hypoglycemia just gets in the way a touch. I am sure it will even out, and I will be normal again <so to speak.. grin>
