Question about Psyllium Husks and gas.
 

Hi i have decided i need something to help me well ..............GO. anyway i always hear Psyllium Husks are good first do you have a bran name i can get? and second does it cause gas?

I am very prone to horribly painful gas and if this stuff is going to cause it i want to stay away from it. so in other words does it make you fart cause a little bit of gas in a normal person turns into painful cant stand up or walk gas for me.

I have been drinking the husks in water for a week now - and it works great! I have no bloat or gas side affects! I can't remember the brand name but I purchased it at a health food store...sure it doesn't taste the greatest(looks like sawdust) but I just mix a teaspoon in about 1/2 cup of water and GULP..but ya gatta hurry cause it gets thick real fast - then I follow it by another glass of water. Hope it works as well for you - you may have to increase the amount depending on your body - but give it a day to work the plumbing! I knew I had about a weeks worth of food that was still in me - this now keeps me regular every day! Good Luck
