I was buying stuff in the diabetic supply section and saw these. They are a suppliment that state they " help regulate blood sugar, reduce cravings and bind sugars.
Any clue?
I am a diabetic, I crave sweets.

If you are craving sweets (diabetic or not), you may find that supplementing with chromium or L-glutamine may be helpful. Chromium is especially helpful to diabetics in that it also helps regulate your blood sugar as well as helping with sugar cravings.
I borrowed some "sugar blocker" from a friend one time and tried an experiment: I took it as prescribed and then ate half a Hershey bar. Result? My blood sugar spiked anyway as high as I would have predicted it to without the sugar blocker. IMO, they're worthless and a waste of money. :thdown:

There are enough diabetic sweets which don't contain real sugar on sale. You could also try sugar free jello which doesn't contain sugar. I find a cup of cocoa made with 100% cocoa powder and artificial sweeteners hits the spot.

Thanks too both of you. I'm not trying to use it too get away with eatting sweets but to control blood sugar and cravings.
Lisa, the first ingredient was chronium. There were three ingredients I'll have too look and see what they were.
There are no diabetic candies in this section only diabetic supplies. I have tried the candy though.Yum!
Robert, have you ever melted cream cheese into your jello while making it? I put 3-4 oz to a pack of jello with the hot water, add the cold. Let set. Cut into cubes .
Whip a batch of cream, add the jello cubes. Yummy!!!! Decadent!
