substitutes

I've been curious about any kinds of substitutes are out there for things like bread and cheese. I've heard of grinded nut 'bread' recpies but never tried them. Any recipes that really give variety and imagination to your foods?

One of the things I came up with is called caveman cereal:

take

1 part hazlenuts

1 part crushed pecans

1 part sliced almonds

raisins

banana slices

combine in bowl and add

1/2-1 cup of cocunut milk/water from the can (add water
if needed).

This is actually extremely tasty. Its like a rolled oats and nuts
cereal without the grain and milk and better!

Looking forward to hearing other ideas...

Sounds yummy, I'm going to try it but without raisins and bananas, cause I'm trying to lose weight and these are very high in sugar. Strawberries or blueberries sound like a great replacement though.

Yep definitely those are good too. By the way if anyone
is having looming diabetic symptoms from a high carb diet blueberry
leaves are supposed to be beneficial.

Besides raisins and bananas tasting yummy, theyre also
a little cheaper for those on a tight budget like me :D

Can you use the low carb bread mixes??? Keto makes some pretty good ones. I am not sure about cheese though b/c on Atkins I can have cheese...but the low-carb bread mixes are wonderful!!
