Feeling cold

Is there anyone else here that feels cold alot...or all of the time? It does't matter what I do...how much I wear...I just feel cold. I have had my thyroid checked numerous times and My doctor says it is functioning normal. Please tell me I am not alone.

No you are not alone! I have always been cold when losing weight! Many times after eating I go and take a hot shower or bath! I have no idea why this is so. It seems that many people get hot while in ketosis. I run for the shower. But is it ok, since I know from all my past diet experiences, that this is normal for me.

I've been freezing cold since I started dieting. I'm wearing socks around the house and to bed, and it takes me at least 20 minutes under the covers to warm up enough to go to sleep.

A small sacrifice for the thin me.

How's your Iron??? This is often missed by doctors and one of the symptons is always being cold.

cheers kathy

For the first time in years (like 15), I wore more then one layer.. thats right, a sweater!

While I often feel cold, I choose to be excited about getting to dress in layers. :)

I wish I could get cold. I have been hot lately all the time!! It's getting to be kind of cold here and I wore a t-shirt outside today!!

I do tend to get very cold and I live in S. Florida!
I think I has to do with the fact that we have less 'insulation' now, and that's a good thing :)

Hi,

I'm cold to and I love it. Makes me turn to sleep so much better then I used to. (maybe the bloodpressure getting lower?)

Bye bye

Pax.

I remember this from last time, you are losing all that insulation, and your body has to crank up some heat to compensate, you won't feel cold all the time once your body adjusts, at least mine did.
And another bonus is you'll find that chairs need more padding...because you have less!

Cold here too.
Often I run my hands and wrists in hot water just to warm up a bit.
