Questions about yogurt

I have read that yogurt uses the milk sugars to ferment, and that 1/2 cup of plain yogurt is 2 carbs. I want to try to add a 1/2 cup of yogurt into my diet, once a day, after Induction. I eventually want to try to make my own.

I know that many LC'ers are eating Blue Bunny yogurt. How do you count the carbs? Total carbs, and sugar carbs are listed on each carton, and vary per flavor. Do you subtract the sugar carbs from the total carbs? Blueberry has 14 carbs minus 9 sugar carbs, so 5 carbs? Strawberry has 13 carbs, minus 8 sugar carbs, 5 carbs????

Hi. You can use the Search icon above your post to look for the MANY threads that already exist here about yogurt and its carb count. Even about the particular brands. Put this in the search box: yogurt AND carbs and you should get a lot of threads to read. I got 900 including this one: The Truth about Carbs in Yogurt
