Anyone from Albany-Schenectady-Troy area of New York out there?
 

I live in Schenectady and would love to have a buddy to share with. I am not doing Atkins but have been doing The Type II Diabetic Diet plan since April 11, 2003. I have lost 95 pounds since then. I feel good and most of my aches and pains have left me. I am not diabetic but was surely headed there since it runs in the family.

Would love to hear from anyone, not only just from my area.

I am from upstate NY :) About an hour south of Albany. I've been doing Atkins for about 3 months now and I'm really enjoying it.

I don't know the name of my diet. Pretty much just stopped eating and drinking stuff that has no nutritional value.

I love meat, so I guess it is high protein.

Trying to give up breads and pastas I don't need. So I guess it is low carb.

No extra fats, because they aren't needed. So it is not Atkins.

Plenty of fruits and veggies, cause there isn't much else left to chose from.
