New to this

Hello all,

I to am going to give this lc stuff a try.
Gained most of my weight after having 2 kids 14 months apart. Well it's been 6 years and I can't keep calling it post pregnancy weight gain.
I have tried other diets and failed, and I think it will be hard in hy household to keep carbs to a minimum, but I am going to try.
I am going to get a book from my sister who did the atkins diet and was quite successful.
There are alot of success storiess on this forum and I will use these to keep on track.

Hi Whateverang, cool name. With kids around I know it is going to be hard, but I just act like it isn't even there now. I buy it, bring it home put it away and even hand it to BF and it doesn't phase me any longer. The thing is, which do you want more??? Do you want that bag of chips or candy bar or do you want to lose weight. You can't have it both ways. As I am sure you have found out just like the rest of us, ALSO the just a taste isn't going to work either. After you get your head on straight this will be so much easier for you to do. As you can see I am quit blunt, but I believe you tell it like it is and there are no qustions. I want to wish you good luck on your new WOE (new way of eating) and start a journal to keep track of your highs and lows and food intake, it kmakes it alot easier.
