diet V-8 splash

just wanted everyone to know what i discovered a few days ago.
they now make diet v-8 splash in like 5 flavors and you can have a glass for only 3 carbs...
it tastes just like real juice, not like sugar water (like fruit h20)
and its sweetened with splenda
.. this is great for me since its hard for me to always get past the idea of drinking water with breakfast. also, i used to be a juice nut so its kind of nice to be able to have a little juice taste now and again without loading on the carbs

Hello,

I have only seen 2 flavors of this diet v-8.
what are all the flavors you have seen, I would like to ask my local market manager to order them for me.

Diet V-8

I've been drinking a glass or 2 a day for months!! This juice is so good, plus it's good just to be able to drink "juice". My grocery store only sell 2 of the "Diet" types of V-8, Grrrrr...... Thanks for the info that there is actually "5"!!!! How exciting.. I'll have to grocery store hop and find more!!

Yum Yum :yay: :wiggle:

haha, ok apparantly there are only 3... im very prone to exaggeration :-p
you know, theres like 5 flavors, give or take two... :-/
ive only tried the berry and the tropical, they were both really good, my supermarket carries all of them... i probably over estimated because all the regular v-8 splash bottles were next to the diet ones

I have a question. When I looked at the nutrition label 2g of the 3g of carbs come from sugar.

I am currently on Atkins Induction and I believe this is something I can't have right now, however will I be able to have it in later stages of Atkins? I was to the understanding that you had to stay away from sugar at all costs .... which I am finding totally frustrating. It seems to be hiding in everything.

It truly would be great news if products like these are allowed.

You may want to check out Sobee Lean instead. It has no sugar and maybe 1 carb at most

My wife is doing Protein power to loose the 10lbs she wants to loose. She is missing her orange juice every morning but gets 7 to 10 carbs a meal. I think this might fit right in for her. I can wait to find it

Here's some more information about the SoBe Lean drinks. I'll definitely have to try out both the V8 Diet Splash and the SoBe!

I'd like to know too.

i think you probably should stay away from it if youre in induction... youre supposed to be getting most if not all of your carbs from vegetables anyway, not fruits/sugar/dairy.... thats what the atkins approach would say, i think.

for me, as long as i add it into my daily total of carbs and only have one serving a day or every other day, its not a problem.... youll stick with low carbing longer if you dont have to sacrifice EVERYTHING that you used to have <--- my opinion

That is great news! Thanks for passing it along. :yay:
