Alcohol And Induction

has anyone had alcoholic beverages on induction? if so, how did it affect
your weight loss? i really want brandy with diet rite or michelob ultra.

Induction is only 2 weeks.... You should wait.

I agree with Ian.

You should wait until after induction. But everyone is different. I won't lie I drank during inductions. I drank wine the first week and half, then found Michalob Ultra and now I switch back and forth to those two.

It didn't seem to affect me, but remember everyone is different. I may have lost faster if I hadn't of drank who knows. But I told myself when I started this I was not going to change my life style just my eating habits.

I'd say if you can stay away from it for the first two weeks. If not just make sure you count the carbs in your totals.

I also remember reading you should stay away from the brown drinks - beer and whiskey and scotch, sadly. Stick to vodka or gin or wine. The flavored vodkas with plain soda make a marvelous drink.

I stayed away for about 10 days, then I had a glass of wine. Just one that Wed night, then none again till the weekend and 1 more.
I would really try to go without, if you can. You do yourself a disservice by drinking bcause it makes it harder for your body to do what you want.
This is from someone who knows that, but can't put it into action.
:)
