New Atkins Ad
 

Anyone else see the new Atkins full page magazine ad? I saw it on the back cover of The New Yorker. It says at the top "There's nothing to eat on Atkins except...". The rest of the page is taken up by photographs of food, mostly vegetables, mostly raw, with a couple of Atkins products mixed in and a few examples of meat, fish and shellfish. Also eggs in the shell and what looks like some uncooked bacon. I was surprised that they included an apple (other fruits depicted are 3 kinds of berries). It's a cute ad. I wonder how many people they will win over by including a photo of a radish!

Yep, there was a thread about this ad recently. They're also running it in a number of high-profile magazine spots. But the back page of the New Yorker is impressive! They must really be upping the ad budget.

I think it's a a great way to wake up the Atkin Naysayers who think we live on steak and bacon all day!
