switching?

is there a safe (meaning so that i dont gain weight back) way to switch from atkins to a low fat diet? Im pondering the idea of taking a break from atkins because of the food limitations here at the dorms. They have tons of low fat stuff and that how i lost my first 35-50 lbs (low fat and exercise). But im not sure yet..just asking for some input...thanks all :)

Low Fat == High Carb.

Usually Low Fat means "Sweetened", so that it tastes substantial. This means that it will cause insulin reactions, which will likely cause you to gain weight.

So using your definition of "safe", no, it's not safe.

I hate to say this but If you switch you'll likely gain the weight back.
