Chocolate Syrup Made With Splenda At Wal-Mart
I was at Wal-Mart Superstore yesterday and came across a chocolate syrup for milk or ice cream made with Splenda. It's a Wal-Mart brand called Great Value and was only $1.44 for a large bottle. It has 4g of carb per 2 Tblsp. which is considered one serving. The carbs come from sucralose. I mixed it in to some natural peanut butter for a treat for me and my kids and it was like eating a Reeces cup!

interesting-have to check it out.

Just a minor point, but the carbs in this product probably come from a mixture of sugar alchols and cocoa, as sucralose by itself has zero carbs. If you can post the Ingredient List, that would be really helpful...thanks! |
Sounds Good, will look for it. I have found many LC products at WalMart at much lower cost than the online or specialty LC stores.

I didn't notice any sugar alcohol-my mistake!
