FitDay and adding carbs correctly

I entered what I've eaten so far today and I noticed that the carb total isn't exactly correct. If the total carbs for an item is less then 1 it looks at it as though it's 0 carbs and doesn't add that into the final total. Am I missing something here, shouldn't we know exactly how many carbs? I'm just starting the Atkins diet today..the induction period.

What i have been doing is making up custom foods... like splenda pack... 1 g of carbs... ect...

Hope that helps..

I am not that familiar with it myself... just sort of stumble thru it.

I too create custom foods when this happens. But I have to say I am glad they do not deduct sugar alcs and fiber from the carb count too. I go by total carbs not adjusted carbs.......

I create my own custom foods too. Just enter the package label information into the blanks and all the totals will be exactly right for the foods you eat.

Fit day will round when you look in the little box next to the food. It does take all the decilmals into concideration though when adding up the days total, then rounds that number.

What I actually did was set up custom goals so I can keep a more accurate count.

Just go to the goals link on the left, and set up one for carbs and one for fiber (so you can subtract out) - they don't even necessarily have to be set to any number (ie, you can stick them both at 1 if you want)

Then when you go into reports - click on "Am I meeting my custom goals for today" - it will give you a more accurate count of carbs and fiber. (ie, it will say 26.69 g carbs and 14.26 g fiber)
