Karen, what an honour!
 

I had the wonderful honour of meeting Karen Barnaby this past weekend in Vancouver at The Fishhouse in Stanley Park. OMG, I must say, not only is Karen a wonderful chef, but a truly exceptional person.

Karen, thank you so much for welcoming us so warmly on Saturday night, we truly felt like V.I.Ps!! Your special attention made my weekend! Thank you for everything, it was a huge honour to meet you and be able to chat with you in person. Thank you for that!

Everything was amazing, and kudos on the bread you brought out specially for us...we both loved it! I found I preferred the texture to that of regular restaurant bread!! It felt like it was more of an indulgence! Speaking of indulgences...the Panna Cotta...I can't even speak when I think of it...I just want to ooohhh and ahhhhh! It was so luscious!

The feeling is mutual. It's always an honor and a pleasure to meet people from the Forum.

I kept working on the bread formula and by Monday it was pretty near perfect so you'll have to come back again to try it. :lol:
