Have a BAD cold and I am STARVING!!!

I have a bad cold/sinus infection and I swear I have not been this hungry since before I started Atkins 4 months ago and was a carb addict! I am like an eating machine! Has this been anyone elses' experience? Maybe the meds? Maybe psychological (feed a cold...), ARGH!!!! I have been sticking to plan, but, the calories are very high! I ate 4 pieces of KFC last night, COVERED in Marie's blue cheese. Sooo good, wonder if I have any left....SEE! That is how I have been for the last few days! I think suffering with the hunger is worse than the nasty cold! AHHHH..CHOOO!!!

I am usually the opposite when I feel like that. But, some meds can do that to you as well. I hope you get to feeling better soon

Dstar, I hope you feel better soon. If misery loves company, though, I'll come join you. I have a nasty cold, too, and there are about 300 eating triggers aiming at me at the same time right now (being sequestered at home with sick children, a full supply of macademia nuts, an unopened jar of almond butter, new medication that's making me ravenous, etc.) I've hit the point of just having to say to myself, "NO MORE FOOD until dinnertime." Will that hold? I can feel the magnetic pull of the refrigerator as we speak.

Thanks you guys! Sorry you've joined the club Rose! Oh, did I mention I stayed glued to the Food Channel last night? They really need to have a LC cooking show! Well, I am off to surf in the recipe section...
