Mmmm!

Let us know how it turns out ... and if it's a good one, please post the recipe!

I have never heard of that product but it sounds promising. I'll be waiting for others to answer for sure.

its the first time i have used this symbol, lol,it ruined the pie,i might have used too much of it i'm not sure, but i'm going to make the pie again later this week without it,if its a success,i will post it in my journal if anyone wants it btw,i think pie would have been mmm mmm good without the sweet-10,what a costly mistake live and learn, right

Clearly the board doesn't want you to use that symbol! LOL

I'm so disappointed for you, especially to have invested in a new sweetener and have it ruin a batch of other ingredients.

Too bad!

Better luck next time and if so, I'm hoping for a recipe!

That's a pretty hard lesson for any sweetener. It's been my experience (since 1998) that ANY sweetener, start very very small and work your way up, tasting all the way if possible. Also, mixing two sweeteners works well, but you use less than half the called for amount of each because they seem to increase sweeteness (and aftertaste) working together.

Better luck next time!

PS: if this is a saccharin-type liquid sweetener, they are famous for their aftertaste, use with care and always in combination...or you'll :Puke: ! (has to be a capital P in there or you invoke the :p guy with a small p.

Just my two-cent's worth on the Sweet-10:
I use it all the time and like it, BUT ONLY for items that do not get cooked!! (I use it in my faux-honey mustard sauce, for example).

It does have a yucky taste when heated. So don't throw out the whole bottle just yet!! :)
