EFA Calories, do you count them?

Many of us supplement our diets with Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) for health and fat loss purposes. Some of the methods employed involve using flax, cod liver, seal and fish oils - as pills and as liquids. What I am curious about is do you count these toward your daily fat calorie totals?

There are those who advocate counting all fat calories - a calorie from one type of fat is similar to a calorie from another. There are also those who maintain that fat calories from EFA sources are used differently than other fat calories - EFAs actually help your body burn other fat and are recognzied as being 'essential' and too important to be used for 'energy'

So, do you account for your EFA calories?

I count them because they can added an extra 100-200 calories a day. That's quite a bit to have unaccounted for, I feel.

I don't count my pills. I guess I should.
