Crunchy snack
For a crunchy snack I buy brussel sprouts and leaf them. I place them single leaf on a cookie tray, brush them with olive oil and sprinkle them with a tiny bit of salt. I bake them until they're almost black. They're crispy and salty!

You can do the same with the red onions.
cut them in quarters, spread them out and bake them till they are almost black and they have a nice sweet taste to them and they are crunchy. Made them by mistake for dinner the other night and I thought they would taste really nice with a low carb dip or some thing. |
Lowcarbnit: I can't wait to try those brussel sprouts. Thanks, sounds yummy!

I made the brussel sprout leaves last night in the oven and my family loved them. But I have to say don't bag them up before they are completely cooled. The first ones I bagged got soggy and that's when I learned to cool them and now my second bag is crunchy. Thanks again

What temp do you use and for approximately how long should this take? Thanks in advance. :yum:

Busymommie: I cooked my brussel spouts on 350' for about 12 minutes or watched until they turned black. Don't worry they're not burned.
