Induction Challenge

Well I have been having bites of this and that that I'm not suppose to have, and also sugar alcohols. Does anyone want to do a 7 week CLEAN induction - no sugar alchols, shakes, bars? NO CHEATS!!!! I say ok to diet soda. And also exercising 3 times a week drinking at least 64 oz of water a day? This would be from Agust 25 to October 13? Anyone interested?

I'm almost doing this already...I guess a cheat that i'm doing is a square of a ross chocloate bar each night (about the size of a stick of gum) and I think I had 2 glasses of white wine last week. Is a cheat something like a homemade cheesecake that's made LC? is a cheat something like nuts? Or is cheating anything over 20 carbs a day? Could you define a cheat more...then I'll join you no prob!
I mean, look I have a cheatfree icon and I might, or someone could say I have cheated but WHAT IS CHEATING?? I define it as going over 20 carbs a day.

P.S. I could stop the SF chocolate and alchol no prob for the clean induction

ohh ohh I just relized it is for "7" weeks not a 7 day week...

NEVERMIND !!!!

LovableLC Sat, Aug-23-03 22:08

By cheat I mean following it in the book to the tee. So no nuts. Only foods on page 72-73 in DANDR book. And yes 20 carbs or less. I plan on being on Induction without moving to another phase for the entire 7 weeks. So anyone who wants to join make sure to read over those pages. The more basic it is the easier the weight loss should be. So cheesecake would be fine since I think all the ingredients are on those pages in the book. I hope I don't sound like a hard ass or anything, just want to do it by the book for maximum loss!

Posting of daily menus/calories/fat/protein, exercise, water intake would be great, plus support and comments. Whatever anyone wants.

Blessings to anyone joining her!

You're On!

I'll do it with you! October 28th is going to be my 30th birthday. A big weight loss is the best present I could give myself for the occasion. Maybe it will help me look forward to hitting the ol' 30 mark, instead of sick to my stomach. This is my 3rd week of Atkins and day before yesterday, I actually restarted my induction. I have been cheating the entire time too. All low, or no, carb items like a little Reddi Whip here and a glass of wine there, but I have consistently stayed under 20 carbs
a day. Mid-way thru my 2nd week, I was actually in full on Ketosis for 3 days. I was so excited. Went to a party.. had a couple Jack Daniels w/diet soda... went straight out of ketosis. Restarted induction 2 days ago and still not a ketone in sight. Yikes! Let me tell ya... that purple keto stick was like a big victory flag waving around as I ran thru the house to show it to my boyfriend (also on Atkins). It made me feel 10 times better than that drink ever could. Let's do it. 7 dedicated weeks. I really want to look good for my b-day and everyday thereafter. Ready...Set...Go! Good luck!

I know what you mean...those darn Jim Beam and diet cokes....*argh*, here's to 7 strict weeks!!!

Dilemma

I find scales to be very discouraging. I normally gage my weight loss by how my clothes fit. The only reason that I knew my weight is because I had just gone to the doctor. Hmmm... to buy a scale, or not to buy a scale... that is the dilemma.

jules32 Mon, Aug-25-03 06:33

:yay:
ALRIGHT!! Here we go, I'm ready!! Good luck everyone!

My Poem

Did two week Induction
but I cheated.
Should have given it a better try
so, Induction I repeated.

On Re-Induction
day number three,
I received the challenge
from Lovable LC.

I accept the challenge
seven weeks NO CHEAT
Hope this one's the charm
and begin my 3-Peat!

Good luck to everybody! We can do it.
