Need help finding a reliable scale

Hi Everyone!

I have been using the same Health-O-Meter digital scale for 16 years now and the scale is no longer reliable. My doctor's scale has me six and a half pounds under my scale (with clothes!) and my friends scales all vary from 5 - 10 pounds under my scale. Also, I could step on my scale three times in a row the same way and I get three different results ranging up to three pounds different.

I would like to buy a new scale, but I was hoping some members could help me choose a good reliable model. I don't know if this is the proper place to post this, but I figured exercisers tend to weigh and measure to determine their progress.

Thanks in advance!

Kristi

Well, I ended up buying a new digital health o meter scale and it works great. While in the store, I'll also tryed the sunbeam digital and it was not so good. The non-digitals varied so greatly it was obvious that they don't hold their tension as well as the digitals.

TANITA scales are great! I find them very consistant in weight. The body fat % capability may not be perfect but if you look at the data with, say, a 7 day average it is great for trend information.

ooppss, sorry, I didn't see both posts. I see you have one now.
