Joined as a contributing member, because I am so impressed and pleased with the help and support this forum gives.

It was like a "bonus" when I read that by becoming a contributing member I would no longer get the pop up ads.

Well..............I am still getting them? Just wondered if others are also?

The only "pop-up" approved for our site is from Atkins official site. As a contributing member, you should not be getting these. If you're getting pop-ups, they're most likely to come from some program you've downloaded from the internet, such as a special toolbar, a program that's suposed to "speed up" your internet access, or some "ad blocker" software that blocks all other ads but their's :rolleyes:

When you get such a pop-up, try to copy the url or website name where it's from, then post here. The webmaster can check it out.

Some software you install from the web, installs a lot of advertising, and tracking you surfing. It's called spyware.

To eliminate such spyware from your system, here's a free tool that should help you find and remove them:
