Ross Chocolates! Great Canadian store!

"Tastes Great! You will not be able to help yourself. One bar = 1.2 oz.(34g), Calories = 161,Carbohydrates = 1g, Sugar = 0g,Total Fat =12.2g,Sat.Fat = 7.5g,Maltitol = 14.3g,Protein = 1.8g."

Man, they aren't lieing! I recentely ordered some Ross chocolate bars from torontodirect.com. here are the flavors I ordered

Dark Delight
Mint Delight
Supreme Delight
Crunchy Delight
Almond Delight

I have to say, all of them were extremely good. The Mint Delight is by far the best, like most people agree. The Dark Delight came in 2nd place. Crunchy and Almond were good also, but i'm not a big fan of almonds or nuts, so I didn't really like them as much. The supreme was the "worst" of the lot. Too rich for me, and after eating a few pieces it starts tasting really bitter. But anyways, my overall vote goes to the "Dark Delight". It's good enough to satisfy cravings, but not too good, so you don't need to worry about eating tons of them. I know if I had the Mint's in the house, they would all be gone in a few days. Plus, the Mint bars have the 2nd most carbs in them of any bar (3g) and the dark only has 1g. And even more important, the Dark Delight is the ONLY ross bar that doesn't use any sugar OR dairy products. All of the other bars use dairy in them.

So needless to say, I put in an order of 18 more bars, ALL of them "Dark Delight". Oh, one more thing, you can also use the Dark Delight bars in recipes for baking. I used it in replacement of unsweetened chocolate chips and splenda, and it worked great. Oh, and I order all my bars from www.torontodirect.com - They sell them for the cheapest I can find, $1.29 each. And also, the first time they shipped them to me, all the bars melted because it was so hot outside. It wasn't there fault, they had TRIPLE WRAPPED it, but they still sent me more bars absolutely free (I had them sent to my work though, so they wouldn't sit in the sun). They only charge $1 shipping to Canadian residents also, no matter how many bars you order.

Peace,
YuckyCarbo

Wow, what a good review! I am familiar with the Ross bars but had no clue about the site you mentioned... That is a VERY good price! Going to check it out now, thanks again!

[edit] Ummm it would have been a good price if it were Canadian dollars.. I assumed it was, since the company is in Toronto. However, much to my chagrin, the price is in US dollars and no break when you buy a case. Humbug!
