whip cream and soy nuts

Hey everyone! Just started this diet on Mon. Can't believe it's gonna work, but I know it does for lots of people. Do you know if you can have the whip cream in a spray can during induction? Also, what about soy nuts? Thanks!! Got my fingers crossed!!

I've been eating the Redi-Whip in a can on Induction, with no problems that I can see. You will need to limit yourself to just a few tablespoons though, which can be hard to do. I suspect it might be better for to whip heavy cream yourself with a little Splenda (you can add unsweetened baking cocoa powder for a chocolate fix). It's just as good, albeit a little more work.

Oh...about the soy nuts. Atkins says no nuts on Induction, especially in the first two weeks!

Good luck. We're all rooting for you!

Thanks! Nuts on the nuts ;) But, hey, if I can eat a steak on a diet, who's complaining!!!

When you come out of induction you might try Macadamia nuts. They taste great and are high fat low carb. The only draw back to them is the high cost. :)

I havn't tried soy nuts because the only ones I can find have too many carbs and are usualy honey roasted. I did buy black soy beans in the can which are low carb. I use them in mexican dishes, and am pondering making chili with them. I also got green soy beans from the frozen section. Havn't tried them yet though.

I eat alot of soy in the form of soy cheeses and LC soy milk as I am lactose intolerent. I occasionaly will have a meal made with tofu or a soy protien drink, though the kind I currently have tastes to nasty.
