Pharmaceutical grade supplements
Hey everyone,
Does anyone know where I can acquire some good pharmaceutical grade supplements without breaking the bank?? The ones on the TSP website are pretty outrageous!! Thanks in advance!! cris. ps. hope everyone is having a wonderful day! :yay: |
Vitacost.com carries NSI brand, which is pharmaceutical grade.
They R overall the cheapest place I've found, in general. Plus, I get lotsa other products there at GREAT prices (Kiss My Face brand soaps, Toms of Maine toothpaste, Long Life Organic Teas, etc.). Jinx PS Remember, LESS of the pharmaceutical grade goes as far as higher doses of non-pharm, so don't compare apples to oranges. |
Hey Jinx,
Thanks very much! I didn't know where to begin to look -- it always helps being referred by someone!! thanks again -- Cristin |
I was wondering how they ship those vits. Is there any special packing for the ones that are easily destroyed by heat? Bcomplex, etc?
|
My guess would be that the vitamins are stable unless vitamins get CRAZY hot, like if stored in a hot humid place (bathroom cabinet). My shipments are never hot when they arrive - they are shipped via FEDEX.

Hmmmm, maybe I'll give it a try. I was worried about them sitting in the backs of hot trucks, but my guess is the ones in the stores are delivered that way too, so what we be the difference huh?

That's what I'm thinking

I get my vits from vitacost.com and shipped to Eire. Never a problem.

Welcome to the forum, Straboy. Had no idea vitacost shipped to Ireland. Thanks for popping by.

I order my supps direct from a pharmaceutical grade company and the only supplements that they ship special are the probiotics during the summer months. Just make sure to immediately refridgerate the supps you are supposed to refridgerate and they should be fine.
