tired

Never felt like this in Feb. when I started atkins, without cheating. Lost 35 pounds before my stepdaughters wedding. (still have 10 more to get to my goal), but felt like a new woman being walked up as a mother of the bride. The day before the wedding I ran myself like Crazy. Barely ate anything Thurs. (two slices of cheese and two pieces of bacon). Day of the wedding again ran around like crazy, stuffed down l/2 of a McDonalds 99 cents hamberger. Drank Low Carb beer at the reception (ate no food).

Sat. had to clean the reception hall and house, finally around lunch time (no breakfast) ate a handfull of chicken salad sandwiches, supper ate brisket and pocket bread (all from the re ception). Did the same Sunday.
And I ate a few bites of wedding cake.

Got on the scale no gain!! Thank God. Now yesterday that the stress is over started back to my 20 carbs. Feeling really tired and sluggish. Not sure if its just the after affects from the wedding or from too much bread over the weekend.

Hopefully back on induction and more rest in a day or two I'll feel better again.

Sounds like a carb hangover to me. Give it a bit and see if you start feeling good again. I sure as heck get nice headaches and feel groggy and sluggish if I binge and then return to induction. Like a mini-withdrawal, if you will.

Good luck and don't fret, you'll be back to 'normal' in no time!

I will weigh in this coming friday. hope for lose to. this sure has been slow. but am sticking with it till fall just to see if atkins works for me.
For last 2 weeks have been exesicing. training on tredmil on running 2 miles and wt. training. and just starting the firm tapes. have to get with that part and stay with it.
Still doing 20 carbs or less.and watching calaries. just to keep track.
Last friday i gave up diet rite and fruit 02 drinks with splenda.and atkin bars or carb lite. no carbs.
going to stay off those till next friday to see if it gets me to move back down. But i sure miss at times diet rite and i started likeing friut o2 water.
just drinking ice tea plain. and water.
was thinking to add in tea.or water slice leamon. is that ok???

Hi Janet,

Thanks for responding. Yes I feel good, now I'm on my last 10 pounds. Yikes :wiggle:

My other daughter is doing ok, she's young and she'll bounce back quick. She was suppose to be in the wedding, but decided against it, thats understandable, but she did attend.

I'm so glad all of this is all past of its been hard to concentrate on atkins dealing with a death in the family and a wedding all in two months time. But I'm proud of myself that I did. Did I tell you DH started atkins two months ago and lost 20 pounds. Sister started two weeks ago and lost 10 pounds, who's next out there for me to recruit. HA HA

let me know when you weight in how your doing.
