Yummy Appy
I took three jalapeno peppers, washed, stems removed, and sliced length wise, seeds taken out. Added 1/2 tsp cream cheese to each. Placed in frying pan w/ a few tablespoons olive oil, then covered and roasted on low for about 15 min. They were soooooo good. I usually have them breaded and deepfried at restraunts. I haven't had them in months and was craving something yummy. I am going to make them again tomorrow but wrap each in 1/3 slice bacon fastened with a toothpick.
According to my book the total serving had 1 carb and 1 gram fiber. |
