Need Recipe Help

I have been on here every day printing off recipes and trying them out. (I am in my kitchen all of the time!) Sometimes they are good, sometimes AWFUL. I am trying really hard to find recipes that will keep my husband on Atkins with me. He loves carbs, but is really tring to stick to it...
Is there a "best of the best" section on here somewhere?
If not, can we start one?I've tried lots of the bread recipes, and they are so eggy...they taste like quiche. :Puke: And not good quiche either...

I am needing some good side dishes to keep my husband and I away from bread and .keep us from going crazy on salads. Any suggestions?
Please Help!!
Thanks!

Hi Marta!

Good to see another WI-er join the forum! I'm living in Chicago now but am a true Wisconsinite by heart!

Some of the recipes on here are reviewed, some have stars next to them and those ones are reviewed by people and thought of as tasty. I would keep a look out for those ones!

Another place I go to for recipes is www.allrecipes.com They do have high carb recipes there also, but when you search, search by low carb ingredients such as chicken or low carb veggies. All the recipes on that site are rated, and everyone makes comments abou them as well. It's a wonderful site, and if 50 people say a recipe is tasty I have a lot more confidence in it!

As for some tasty side dishes, here's some I recommend:
Mock mashed potatoes (you can search for this on the allrecipes website as a matter of fact) made with cauliflower
roasted asparagus
assorted low carb veggies chopped and mixed with mozzerella cubes and pesto
artichoke boiled and served with lemon butter
veggies w/ dip
coleslaw (you can buy the preshredded cabbage and make the dressing w/ no sugar yourself)

hope that gives you some ideas!
