Not hungry for breakfast on induction
Hi,
I started induction 2 days ago, and I'm never hungry in the morning for breakfast, should I eat anyway? Thanks!!! :) |
Most definetely
Find something you can stomach. I'm not much of a breakfast person myself. Lately, it's been a celery stalk with cream cheese, kinda makes you think you have a bagel, and give you the cream cheese taste.
Good luck, wsgts |
Yes Yes Yes :)
You fast all night. You should eat something, anything, within an hour of wakin and never go more then 5 waking hours qithout eating. The morning meal starts your metabolism and sets the day up. After eating it for a while your body will adjust and demand it. People that don't eat breakfast not only slow weight loss, but also may have problems with light headedness or fainting. Note I said may, not everyone has those problems. |
Have a hard boiled egg and swill down some water
|
Me too. I bring mine to work, and eat it when I'm awake. :)
Going more than 6 hours with out eating can raise your blood sugar level, which is BAD! |
I NEVER USED TO EAT BREAKFAST BEFORE ATKINS. NOW I ALWAYS DO. I WILL BRING SOMETHING SMALL ( HARD BOILED EGG, BACON, OR SAUSAGE) AND I EAT AROUND 9:30 10:00. SOMETIMES I WILL BRING AN ATKINS SHAKE IF I KNOW I WON'T HAVE TIME TO EAT. THAT FILLS ME UP FOR A COUPLE HOURS.
GOOD LUCK |

In my view, if you're not hungry and can function well without breakfast, to what end would you force yourself to eat? I presume, getting enough calories during lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner shouldn't be a problem. |
I wish I had that problem , I'm on my 9th day of induction.
When I wake up in the morning I am Starving for breakfast like never before. |
I have the same "problem" too. I wake fairly hungry. Make breakfast, and can't finish it. When I started induction 3 weeks ago..I would wolf down a 3-4 egg omlette loaded with cheese and 4 strips of bacon. Now, I'm lucky to finish 2 eggs and 2 strips without feeling stuffed.
