Iv'e heard mixed reports on the consumption of coffee while doing atkins. I read in the book that it may enhance your sugar cravings. Coffee is one thing I can't seem to stop. I do use cream and splenda in it. I try and limit myself to two cups a day. Is this an issue with anyone else.? flutterbye

This is one of those things that bother some people and others it doesn't. Caffiene can cause an insulin surge in some and stall out weight loss. It hasn't bothered me. My weight loss might be faster without it, but I am not giving it up! If you don't see weight loss, then you might want to think about switching to decaf.
