First week induction results...

Starting weight, 253. Weight this morning, 240. -13 lbs!

Starting measurements (chest/waist/hips): 47.5, 48, 48
This morning's measurements: 47, 46, 45, -5.5 inches!

Woo hoo! :daze:

I am having problems eating as much as I need to. I've lost all hunger and only have minor, minor cravings. Friday and Saturday, I missed lunch and yesterday I forgot about supper. In fact, i only consumed ~2 carbs yesterday. As I result, lower energy and a headache in the evening. I need to get better about this. Amazing considering I would *never* miss a meal before I started.

All in all, I am please with the first results. I have a mini-goal this week which is to start wearing my 40 waist jeans again. When I started I was in a 42 and those were getting snug. Now, they're fairly loose and almost unwearable; I don't subscribe to the showing my underwear school of fashion. :)

Thanks, everyone, for the great support on this forum.

If you dont want a large meal have a snack. Make up some deviled eggs or have some pork rinds to knibble on. Dont forget to get your salad or veggie in everyday. This will help you feel better during induction. Congrats on your weight lose!!!!

WAY TO GO SAM!~

WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!

You can expect a normal slowdown at some point in the next several weeks...when that happens do NOT get discouraged and Low-carb your way through it.

You are doing SO GOOD Sam...EXCELLENT!

You might wish to try having more frequent smaller meals throughout the day if you are having a hard time getting all your food down. That wirked for me when I was in my first two weeks of induction.

I went through a period of about one week where it was HARD to eat and I did not want to... (About days 4-11)....now, I am pretty much hungry several times a day and eating is no problem, although, in general, I find I want less then before.

GOOD JOB SAM!
Best wishes;
Jake
