iced tea

Hello fellow low-carbers. I am addicted to iced tea. I sweeten it with keto-sweetener (no carbs). Sometimes I add in zero carb heavy cream for Thai iced tea (yum). Does anyone know how many carbs cold brewed tea has? I could drink the stuff all day long but have been holding back because I am worried about carbs. I use the regular Lipton's black cold brew tea bags. I don't like any other kinds of tea (herbal etc...). Any information about carb counts is appreciated. Thanks!

Hello

I also drink a lot of tea...love liptons. www.fitday.com says brewed tea is 1.07 carbs for 12 ounces 1.42 carbs for 16 ounces

not bad but you should keep track because i can eaily drink 4 16 oz glasses a day or more

I use saccarin tablets because they have very little filler which is the stuff they put in with artifical sweeteners to make them pour our of the package...

I make a 32 ounce glass of tea and use 5 saccarin tablets for sweetening=to 5 tsp sugar and count 2 carbs for tea and 1/2 for the sweetener

A good thing to know too is that whipping cream has about .5 grams of carbohydrates per Tbsp. :)
