What supermarkets sell pork rinds?
I live in Montreal, and i`d love to know where you can buy pork rinds? I `d rather buy them in person than pay S&H on them for an online order.
Thanks, Julie |
I don't know what specific supermarkets are in Montreal but have a look in the snack aisle in amongst the potato chips. Other sources are Latin American stores where they might be under the name of chiccharones - I'm sure I'm spelling it incorrectly - and Chinese grocery stores.
One thing I know you can get in Quebec are excellent pork products like cretons - pork cooked in its own fat - that is great smeared in a stalk of celery. Karen |
Thank you for the response Karen, that was sweet of you. I have to look up creton, but I always assumed that it had breading mixed in with it. So does that mean that I can now eat it, after all these years of avoiding it like the plague?..lol...I will definately look up those cicccarones in the ethnic shops. Thanks again ;)
