What to pack for lunch when away from refrigerator???
I will be taking an 8 hour exam on Saturday that I have been preparing for for the last 6 months. I want to pack a lunch that will be wholesome and give energy and keep me full through my second half of the test. Whatever I bring will have to be out of the refrigerator for about 5 hours and I won't have a microwave. I have no idea what to bring...I am trying to avoid shakes and bars. Any thoughts?

Do you have time? A big chef's salad? A "sandwich" wrap either with low-carb tortillas or lettuce leaves as the wrap. Also, just a favorite lunch meat with cheese and favorite condiment rolled up. Fresh veggie and dip. Take an insulated bag with a frozen pack and you'll be set. I love the Louis Rich Southwestern chicken strips for the salad and athey're good enough to eat just out of the package.

Hey there
Why not take bottles of water..pour alittle out or drinka little from both and freeze and use these to keep your food cold?
