How many lbs can you gain in one day? Just curious to now!

March 12, 1994 I gained 220 pounds in one day (i got married). August 19, 2002 I lost all those pounds in one day as well.

Fat or water? You pretty much have to eat an extra 3,500 calories above what you burn off to gain a pound of fat. How much can you eat in one day? Water is another story -- it's not unusual for people to retain several extra pounds of water in a day, particularly if they haven't been eating many carbs and then suddenly go on a carb binge.
