Best rice substitute for Maki?
I'm dying for Maki. I can't decide if I should replace the rice with shredded,steamed:
A) Cauliflower B) Daikon C) Turnip (I don't think so) D) Something that hasn't ocurred to me yet. Any thoughts? I'm itching for another excuse to use my Soy sauce/Splenda/Wasabi condiment! Thanks in advance! :D |

Rice substitute.

I've read somewhere that you can use finely shredded cauliflower fried in olive oil as a substitute for rice. I've tried it and liked it. I had minced meat with mushrooms and onions with it. If you try it, let us know what you think. :) Rey |
