I have a very strange question

I am embarassed to ask this question and it took a lot of nerve for me to finally ask it. But, does anyone else have a problem with their butt? I don't mean my butt - we all have a problem with our big butts, that is why we are here! I mean... my butt

I often get an itching and sometimes a little bleeding. At first I thought it was the spicy pork rinds, so I quit eating those and it did get somewhat better. But it still happens sometimes. I didn't have this problem before Atkins, so I am not too concerned that it is anything really serious.

Does anyone have a clue?

Hmmm, sounds like hemorrhoids to me. Or if you have been constipated, it might have irritated that area.

Chocy, I occasionally have had this due to constipation or um... to put it delicately, hardness of matter. I would look at increasing the water a bit, adding some fiber, and/or taking a supplement such as Benefiber or Metamucil to help.

It could be something like worms (I know it sounds bad.... its something I used to hear a lot about when I was younger). I'd advise that you take this question to your doctor. Maybe its only hemmoroids, but wouldn't you feel more comfortable knowing for sure? :)

Hope it gets better, and don't be embarrassed. We're all family here! :D

Water! That might be part of it. I have been a little lazy with my water consumption lately.

I thought of hemorrhoids too, but it is not painful, so I thought not - but I guess they aren't always painful, right?

I'll try more water and maybe a little fiber. I am bad about eating all my veggies :(

Thanks for the advice!

If increasing water doesn't solve the problem, try psyllium husks for regularity - a great natural fiber and less expensive than the other stuff. Get them at a health food store. I put it into gelatin capsules so I don't have to drink it, but take them with lots of water.

you got hemmies from all the meat. Add water, veggies and psylim husks.

sounds like hemorrhoids or like someone else said, it could be pin worms. Those are nasty little boogers.
