Scholtzkys Deli

Oh my, I made the mistake of asking my favorite deli to make a sandwich for me without the bun....after so many of the counter people asking me "why, how, why, why"? I was dieing of embarassment :o and just wishing I had never asked. What i ending up get was meat (not stacked) spread on a plate with a little bit of cheese melted. All I wanted was the tipical sandwich with onions, olives, mustard, tomatoe, cheese, meat stacked just like a normal sandwich.

It will be awhile before I get my nerve to ask for an altered item again. What about everyone else, ever had trouble getting across what you need/want at a food place?

:daze:  :daze:  :daze:

Trouble? Yes, at first. But as you, I lived and learned. Next time you caneither tell the exactly what you want (Gestures are always good) or just get the sandwich, and then through the bread away.

Some people (including me) found it hard to ask for special treatment - but remember, you are paying, you are the customer, and truly: Who cares what others think? We think you are perfectly normal - those other people, well they just aren't enlighted yet.

Hang in there, and practice practice practice!
