Question about TOM weight gain
 

Hey, ladies...

Does TOM weight gain usually occur just BEFORE, or during TOM? And when does it usually come back off? This is my third cycle on Atkins and I didn't notice any significant weight changes for the first two...but I'm on day two and all of a sudden I'm up four pounds from yesterday. I'm assuming it's water but it still sort of came as a surprise. I figured if I were going to gain, it would be before TOM started...not during. What do you gals think?

For myself it's just prior and the first couple days of my period. It doesn't upset me though because I know it will go as fast as it came and is very temporal.

mine is about 2 days before and all during my TOM. As soon as it is overwith it seems like the 3 pounds I gain are gone.

I'm the same. 2 or 3days before and the first 2 or 3 days of my TOM. I want to add, (in my ever militant war against the scales), that I weigh in once a month right after my period, and it has worked really well for me. That up and down drove me crazy!!!

I vote in with the two to three days before, but sometime I don't show any gain at all. I figure that is because I may have lost some but TOM is not letting it show! Buy the day things get back to normal. And the loss is any shows up shortly after TOM has gone :roll: .

TOM=Time of the month

I pack on 3 pounds of water weight the week before. However, I have noticed a reduction in swelling-so who knows how many pound of water weight I had before lc!

It usually takes a few days after for it all to go away and sometimes the week after I notice I drop another pound as well.
