salt and vinegar pork rinds

I just got a shipment of salt and vinegar pork rinds from a website today -I thought they would be a different change of pace -
I also bought regular and bbq ones also
I looked at the nutrition count on the bbq and saw the 3 rd ingredient is sugar so they are going to be given to someone who can eat them
The salt and vinegar show no sugar and less then 1 gram of carb so if I am careful (because of extra salt) are they ok ??

They are very yummy!!!

Where do you order pork rinds on the internet? There is only one kind available where I am and they're kind of nasty! I like bacon so I would think I'd like them but there must be other choices!
Thanks.

Yes Jerrpt.. where do you order pork rinds from. Are they a Frito Lay brand? I heard someone was coming out with a cinnamon pork rind..sounded so good I talked with Frito Lay and the oddest reply... if you see them out please let us know..HUH? Anyway. my husband like the BBQ ones but they are limited to eight for a serving I don't like them so now a problem for me. He has them at lunch..
Also.. I just heard about a pork rind that is in some Safeway stores that you nuke? They come in packages similiar to popcorn and you cook them up fresh? Has anyone heard of these? If so what stores and possibly the manufacturer?
Thanks

Hi,
I buy mine online at -

They have a great range and good service.

Carolinasnacks .com is where I got the salt and vinegar and bbq and regular too
They even threw in about 10 pkgs of some called wash pot pork rinds for free -said they were not full enough bags to sell

I was very pleased with the company -got my order really fast! and they were only 88 cents per 2 and 1/8 oz bag

the only thing was the bbq had sugar as the 2nd or 3rd ingredient so I ate one and put the bag away!!

I have seen the microwavable pork rinds at WalMArt but have not tried them-If anyone has I would love to know too!!

Hi,
I wouldn't be too worried about the sugar in the Sweet Mild Barbecue pork rinds as it should be counted in the total carbohydrates which is still less than 1g per serving (same for all flavors). My understanding of the low carb way of life is that you don't need to completly cut out sugar but should limit it to very small amounts. That means that you can eat things like sauces, dressings, snacks, etc. PROVIDED you take into account the total carbohydrate amount. Maybe someone will jump in and tell us if I'm wrong.
I also noticed that the Hot Barbecue pork rinds don't have any sugar.
Simon.

Cinnamon pork rinds

I found a site (Pork rinds online) that sells cinnamon and butter pork rinds sweetened with Splenda. Each bag is 2.99 per 4 oz bag. They also have the salt & vinegar ones. I haven't tried either , but they sound delicious. :)
