What about Pork Rinds??
I have been on Atkins for a week now.
What about pork rinds?? The label says 0 carbs & 0 sugar. I need some crunch....lol anyone eat them?? Take Care, Lisa |
go for it!!
:yay: |
Pork Rinds are GREAT. Just watch the sodium, cause I found out that they make me hold a lot of water!
|
If you like them, go for it! Tons of people on here eat them and love them. There are also quite a few recipes on here that use them.

Thanks SO much!!!
Never thought I would be excited to have Pork Rinds..lol Take Care All, Lisa |
I like them too...actually it's not too hard to eat a whole bag! But I did take another look at the sodium content and decided to try to limit them. I am a night time snacker and I like to mix up a little mayo and horsetadish and use it as a dip, or a little acceptable salad dressing works too. ENJOY!

I love my pork rinds. I prefer mine with melted cheddar, sour cream, and salsa..... Yum! I very nice reward to replace the chips I can't have anymore, also a nice way to bump up the calories which I have been having trouble lately getting.
|
An alternate crunch is Cucumber slices, dip 'em in a good, preferably homemade dressing, yum
|
I have mine with gaucamole. Not too many though, too much sodium. :daze:

Im in ont. does anyone know where I can find them? |

I read somewhere here to grind them and use them as breading. I tried that with fish last night and it was great! We haven't had fried fish in years and boy did it taste good. I can't wait to try it with chicken. I ground the pork rinds, added a little parmesan cheese and seasonings and it turned out great.
Take care, Jane |
now that is way I might be able to use them. I will have to try using them to bread some fish really soon.
Uhhmmmm I have catfish in the freezer. Sounds yummy. I think I just figured out dinner. Have a good one. |
With Tuna
I eat mine with tuna and mayo. At least once a week.
