No PMS on Atkins!

Another thing I find amazing is I dont have pms. For the first time in years I dont have those darn awful symptoms of PMS. I am expecting Tom anyday now.

Mine have greatly reduced. I don't swell up nearly as badly!

I saw this thread and decided to check it out. You know, my symptoms aren't as bad either.

Besides the bloat I would be grumpy. It hasn't been as bad. My husband likes that.

So, bonus.

I used to suffer awful PMS - especially the emotional end of it - every symptom - nausea, migraines, cramping, irritability, weight gain, you name it.

Now, 13 months into this WOE, the only symptom I have is still a bit of the irritability but all other aspects are so minimal there are times I forget I have it!

I am just starting over with this woe. I forgot about the pms thing. That is a great motivater for me!!! Thanks for reminding me. So far I am having a really hard time sticking to it this time. Maybe this will help!!

There are some many benefits besides the weight lose on this diet. Makes it so worth it to me to do this for life. I used to have awful pms that would last close to 2 weeks before my period. My symptoms where fluid retention, irrtability, anxiety, breast tenderness, headaches and just feeling lousy. Thanks to Atkins I dont have to suffer no more!!!!!

I have noticed that my pms symptoms are reduced also.. hardly any breast tenderness or backaches... and also.. no breaking out!! ( I asked my DH if I was grouchy as usual at TOM, and he just kinda looked at me.. might of been scared to answer  ). BUT, one thing I have noticed is that I am having some serious cravings. They are making me miserable. I haven't given in ... but last night I was wanting something sweet and I didnt feel like a low carb bar.. so I was standing in the kitchen at 11:30 pm making a custard!? :daze: (low carb of course) And then, I took one bite of it and didnt want anymore..so bizzare. And this morning I was eating pieces of swiss cheese dipped in guacamole. I am wondering if these cravings will stop as soon as I "start" or if they continue on for another week. I noticed this morning I had lost another lb... and I thought I was retaining water :) I am wondering if I will have a woosh afterwards? I would love to hear from other ppl. Thanks!

:D :D :D :D :D :D
