info on atkin's supplements?

hi everyone!

i just wanted to know the difference between all the different atkins supplements, and which one works the best. i've looked at accel, essential oils, and a list of the many other stuff. i want to start taking some of these, but don't know where to begin...the atkins site doesn't really tell you that much information in their shopping section...so i was just wondering if any of these would be helpful to the "lifestyle" change i've committed myself to. thank you in advance!

Hey Girlygirl, welcome to the boards!

If reference to your question, the difference between the supplements is that they are all for different things. The Basic3 is your basic pumped up multivitamin. It has more of the good stuff your body needs. Any good multivitamin would work, but I use the Basic3. It is more pricey than others I've seen, but Dr. A warns against iron, and that's not in his. Besides, I am rather sensitive to iron, and have to watch my consumption of it anyways.

The Essential Oils basically includes Essential Fatty Acids and Fish oils and Vitamin E. I take this one, too.

The Accel is meant to be a booster, sort of like a shot in the arm in pill form to boost your energy level and weight loss when you have hit a stall or a plateau. I have this, but have not used, so I could not tell you if it works or not. From what I have read here, its sort of YMMV(Your Mileage May Vary), works for some, does not work for others.

I know there is another one, but I don't have it, or any information on it. I would suggest doing a search on the names of the specific supplements here in the forum to get others insights on them (there are many). They are all rather pricey, so if you are strapped, a good multivitamin is helpful.

Hope this info helps!!
