Buttery Cinnamon Snack

Okay, I was looking at an online LC Food Catalog, when I saw some "Gourmet Cinnamon Butter Pork Rinds". Needless to say, I suddenly got a horrible craving for cinnamon, but I couldn't wait for these rinds to come in! So I rushed to the store, bought Original Flavored Pork Skins, and hurried home. This is the recipe for the tasty snack I concocted on a whim.

Cinnamon Butter Pork Rinds

Butter
Cinnamon
Sweet-n-Low
Original Pork Rinds

1. Place desired amounts of butter, cinnamon and Sweet-n-Low into microwave safe bowl.
2. Heat for thirty seconds.
3. Serve hot and dip rinds into sauce.

This is so good for those who want an alternative to cinnamon toast! I don't know if y'all would approve of the butter, or the combination of cinnamon with pork skins, but I could NOT taste the rinds. All I tasted was the delicious, sweet and buttery cinnamon deliciousness! I am pretty sure there are little to no carbs in this snack, if anyone finds that there is, please post it under this thread. Tell me if you liked it, I know I did!

I've made it before with splenda not sweet-n-low - got the idea on a thread in here - what might people not like about butter? Butter is great :D

The one thing is cinnamon has carbs - according to carb counter on this site, 25.5g per 100g - if you use a teaspoon, that's about 5g which is a bit over 1g of carbs. If you use a lot more cinnamon it'll be a lot more. :)

There is fiber in the cinnamon too so the count is a little less.
Cinnamon was found to lower LDL also so it is a good addition to your woe.
You can just shake & coat the rinds instead of a dip. & serving them warm is yummy.

I buy the expensive "Gram's Sweet & Cinnimon" pork rinds for $3 a bag, this is a less expensive alternative for sure!

I tried this once and was very disapointed. They were just nasty. The worst part was I woke up the next morning 7 pounds heavier from water retention :( never again
