Polynesian Burgers
My Hawaian SIL made this up (hence the name). Take ground turkey, liberally mix in chopped onion and green bell pepper, and add some sugar free/no carb tariyaki (sp?) sauce. Mix it all thoroughly with your hands and shape into patties. Then cook in the George Foreman until done. They are great with a little mustard!

Nothing like a good old teri burger! Sounds like a low fat/low carb version of the teri burgers found around Hawaii!
Next time, try some with kimchee and omit the teri sauce for a Hawaiian kimchee burger! check the carbs first! I have some frozen ground turkey in the freezer. If I can find the low carb teri sauce, I'll have to try it! mahalo! CC |
