Ah, Push It...Push It Good. Ah, Push It....Push it Real Good!
I thought that I would begin a gym log to track my daily exercise efforts. I really want to keep track of how my endurance is improving. I have to remember to take something to write with to the gym to keep track of what exactly I am doing to relay it back here. I really like the treadmill, elliptical, and sometimes (on a good day) the stairmaster. I try and do some weight training when time and energy permits. I know I should do more weight training but doing that just doesn't make me feel as good, or as productive, as doing some cardio.
Today is not going too well so far...hopefully, I will get out and about later, as I am not feeling quite well (TOM). I am just trying to rest for now and maybe in a few hours will make it to the gym for some time on the treadmill. I will check back later. |
I did manage to make it to the gym last night. Here is what I did:
1.0 Incline 50 Minutes total 312 Cals burned 2.69 Total miles 10 minutes ~ 3.0 2 min. ~ 4.5, 3 min ~ 3.0 (repeat this 5 times) 10 minutes ~ 3.0 Cooldown I was feeling really, really tired after about the 3rd run. Maybe it was because it was later in the evening? I think I have more energy when I go in the mornings. After I got home and I was taking a shower, I started feeling really weak. Maybe the hot water got to me? Or maybe I was just really exhausted for working so hard on the treadmill? I don't know, I feel fine today...no sore muscles or anything. I plan on going again today after I am done with volunteering with the Wheeler Mission. |
Went to the gym this afternoon here is what I did:
Elliptical 30 minutes 287 Calories burned 1.82 miles Stairmaster 10 minutes 29.1 floors The Stairmaster killed me! And I could only swing it for 10 minutes. I did it after the elliptical so maybe that is why? I am not sure but I was sweating like crazy. I plan on keeping this up...I like to get the exercise that I need. It does suck while doing it but it feels good afterwards. I will go tomorrow afternoon and check back in. After that though....I may not go again until Sun. I definately won't make it on Saturday, Friday early morning is still in the air. |

Excellent job on your workouts! What reason do you have not to go on Friday? You feel so good afterwards, it would be a great way to start off your weekend... just trying to encourage you! :) |
Here is what I did today....
Elliptical 35 minutes 373 calories 2.40 miles Treadmill 25 minutes (15 minutes ~ 2.5, 5 minutes ~ 3.5, 5 minutes cooldown) 102 calories 1.08 miles I am really glad I did that walk on the treadmill after I did the elliptical. Yesterday, I left feeling sick and weak...today feels much better. |
Okay...I didn't make it this morning. And due to work tomorrow I won't go then either....but! I will definately make it Sun and after.

Such a bummer that I didn't get to the gym today BUT! I cleaned my house and I am going to a concert tonight and I will be hopping around and walking alot. So, at least I am not just sitting around. Tomorrow I will be there for sure.

Okay. I finally made it to the gym. Finally! Here is what I did:
Stairmaster 20 minutes 117.5 cals .80 miles 38 floors Treadmill 35 minutes total 192 cals 1.90 miles 10 min.~3.0 1 min.~4.5, 2 min.~3.5 (repeat 5 times) 5 min.~3.0 5 min. cooldown |

Here is today's:
CrossRamp 30 minutes 15 incline 5 resistance 3354 strides 2.47 miles 275.5 cals Stationary Bike 20 minutes 5 resistance 3.55 miles 98 cals It was okay today. I couldv'e gone longer on the bike but I wanted to come home and be with my hubby before he left for something he has to do tonight. I'll be better tomorrow! |

I did the crossramp today: 30 minutes 210 calories 2.20 miles Felt good, would have done longer but didn't. I really should've but it is way too late now! |
